| Angela Simmons channeling the biblical figure, Eve. |
Like those alter ego photoshoots, posing nude on behalf of
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is now the
it thing in Hollywood - until it's not anymore. The most recent figure to get bucked-nekkid for the cause is Co-Founder of Pastry Footwear, reality TV star and daughter of Reverend Run, Angela Simmons. Last night, at a semi-private event, she unveiled her spread (no pun) of photos at the Paramount Hotel in NYC:

The 24-year old shared, that while she still rocked leather and fur and consumed animal by-products, she was taking strides to become more "conscious" of how animal life was revered in her own:
"I really want people to know what happens to animals … Animals have feelings, and I think it's important we take action. As a devout Christian, I feel it’s very important to show compassion for all of God’s creation — and adopting a vegetarian diet is the best way to keep innocent animals from suffering.
Hopefully, I’ll be a vegan in a couple of years, but I’m taking it one step at a time. My uncle inspired me to become a vegetarian, a vegan, when I was young. I tried to be a vegetarian and I couldn’t do it because I was in a family that ate so much meat. But I finally made the change and it’s been like a year and a half now and I’m pretty proud of myself."

| By far, my favorite of the bunch! |
Okay, lesbihonest - she looks HOT, but when are celebs just going to come out and say they just want to bare it all? I think the photos are classy. Why frame Sweet Baby Jesus and vegetarianism as the caveat to getting a little risqué? We won't judge you anymore than we did when we found out you were back kicking it with Lil' Bow Wow.

I'm finding it a little hard to think about someone being a "devout Christian," with these flicks, lol. Folks try to be so spiritual. Bless her heart.
ReplyDeleteWho? o_O
ReplyDeleteShe looks HOT! PETA be tryin' it sometimes with all of their stunts, but this is nice!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what her father thinks of this! SMH...
ReplyDelete@BossyGirl1980, I was just about to say the same thing. Looks like Uncle Rush was down with it, seeing that it's all over Global Grind, but I have yet to hear her dad's remarks.
ReplyDeleteWhat some will do for some relevancy. :-T
I'm loving the photos. I could do without the whole devout Christian, disclaimer, though. LOL @ sweet baby Jesus.
ReplyDeleteYou know how us good girls, who want to do a little bad are! This is a flawless shoot, and I love the Garden of Eden concept.
ReplyDeleteThere ain't nothing "devout" about this chick. It's sad to think she might really believe that about herself.
