A Comedian's Marathon Experience

Comedian David Alan Grier, best known for the characters he portrayed in the '90s comedic variety show, In Living Color, chronicles his 6 hour and 23 minute trek in the Los Angeles Marathon:

"Look at me! I'm running a marathon. It's exciting! It's exciting ... for about a mile and a half."

"I got to mile 23 ... my nipples were bleeding!"

"I started this race, the 1st Sunday in March. By the time I crossed the finish line, it was the 4th of July!"

  1. LMBOOO! That "wall" he speaks of, is sooo real. I hit mine at mile 18, during my marathon. I will never forget that!

  2. Ha @ finishing in July. Man...I was the last of 3 people in my half last year. I'd need until September, if we're starting in March.
