BlaqueIndigo is one of those unapologeitcially, keep it alllll the way real vloggers on the tube. Often times facing e-controversy from her views on black women wearing weaves, the black family and much more ... this vid was pretty interesting ... She begins to speak @ 1:37 ... and talks of her bout with weight loss (was once almost 200lbs), some stats & facts, and the "system" that just wants to make MONEY off of our weakness of food ... as well as our desire to lose weight ...
"Don't be a slave to food anymore, and you will find a FREEDOM that you've never experienced."
"Some men called me thick, and some men just didn't call me at all."
In preparation for some of the awesome initiatives and project launches I've had the honor of working with (*ahem* and developing) ... It's really time for me to step back; recalibrate my strategy and focus on FINISHING out the weight loss phase of this journey.
I continue to desire a body that is as much of an example as my message. That personal drive, partnered with my passion to facilitate accessibility and empower others to seek better health - will continue to fuel me. Updates will be forthcoming. Thanks for the support! And I'll SEE y'all soon - literally! ;o)
