Sorry in advance ... this isn't really WL-related ... ;) ...
To be alive on such a historic day is ... beyond fulfilling ... To witness millions journey to DC, in spite of current economic woes ... to be a part of such an occasion spoke "mountains" ... I've heard many senior citizens (who were there during the civil rights movement) indicate that "Never in my lifetime" ... and actually ... I can honestly say @ 23 years old ... "Never in MY lifetime" did I ever expect to witness such history ... but, it's time to move forward now ... correcting our errors ... working effectively together ... re-claiming leadership & power ...
Like many things ... all will not be fixed overnight ;) ... It's going to take hard work, focus, diligence ... and UNITY ... and I guess to start with the unified progress ... I'll go pull off my Obama bumper stickers and window placards ... lol ... as YES WE DID!!!
The notion that people are inspired not only to have hope in the societal ills that have faced our Nation for 100s of years ... but in other areas of our lives ... pridefully armored in HOPE ... allowing us the dexterity to leap beyond what we assumed were our limitations ... to usher in CHANGE ...
